Development & Alumni Relations Team Updates

As we begin the new year, I write to share an update with our alumni community.

After much reflection, I have accepted a new opportunity with another Boston-area university. My last day at NECO will be Friday, January 9.

This was a difficult decision as my time at NECO has been deeply meaningful. I am profoundly grateful for the relationships I have had the privilege to build with alumni, friends, and partners who care so deeply about NECO’s students and mission. Your generosity, leadership, and pride in NECO are inspiring, and they have made this work a true joy.

While my time at NECO has been brief, I am proud of what we have accomplished together in strengthening philanthropy and deepening alumni engagement. NECO’s momentum is real, and it is fueled by a community that shows up with purpose and heart. I hope you will continue to stay connected, serve as ambassadors for the College, and invest in what matters most—student support, patient care, and the long-term strength of the profession.

I am also pleased to share that Addy Rose has been promoted to Assistant Director of Development & Alumni Relations. Since joining NECO in November 2021, Addy has supported Dr. Gary Chu and the Office of Professional Affairs through industry partnerships and corporate sponsorships, continuing education, research initiatives, and events. In her new role, Addy will focus on alumni engagement and outreach, advancement services and operations, capital campaign support, and leadership annual fund fundraising. She will continue to serve as Co-Secretary of the Board of Trustees and will play a central role in ensuring continuity and progress during this transition.

During this period, Addy will also support the onboarding and training of Camille Pontone, who has joined NECO last month as Program Specialist, Professional Affairs & Development. Camille has worked with NECO over the past three months as a contract team member supporting Development & Alumni Relations and Professional Affairs, and we are delighted to welcome her in a permanent role. In this position, Camille will support continuing education programs, the Industry Collaborative and related events, alumni and donor engagement activities, and provide key administrative and logistical support across Professional Affairs, Development, and Continuing Education.

Please join me in congratulating Addy on her well-deserved promotion and welcoming Camille to the NECO community. The Development & Alumni Relations team remains committed to supporting the alumni community and building on the progress underway, and I have every confidence the work will continue to move forward with care and intention.

Thank you for the trust, encouragement, and partnership you have shown me. I will always be grateful to have been part of the NECO community, and I look forward to cheering the College on in the years ahead.

With warmest regards,
