Fireside Chat Series Continues: Clinical Education & Community Impact
Following the successful launch of our Fireside Chat Series in May, we are pleased to announce the next installment of the series, taking place on Tuesday, September 23, at 7:00PM. The virtual event will feature a conversation with two of NECO’s senior clinical leaders: Amy Moy, OD ’03, FAAO, CPCO, FNAP, and Timothy Bossie, OD ’12, FAAO.
The session will highlight NECO’s expanding clinical footprint and evolving approach to optometric care delivery. Dr. Moy, Senior Director of Health Center Initiatives and Optometric Compliance, and Dr. Bossie, Senior Director of Owned Clinics & Outreach Affiliations, will share their perspectives on the College’s efforts to strengthen partnerships, enhance patient access, and innovate within clinical education.
Together, they will explore how NECO is responding to the growing demands of today’s healthcare environment—balancing compliance, equity, and excellence in care—while shaping transformative learning experiences for students. Topics will include the College’s outreach strategies, compliance innovation, operational goals, and the ways in which owned clinics serve as a model for community-based optometric care.
This event is part of NECO’s ongoing effort to engage alumni and friends in meaningful conversations about the College’s mission, vision, and strategic priorities. The Fireside Chat Series creates a forum for connection and transparency, offering a closer look at the people and ideas driving NECO’s future.
